Hello guys I am newbie , I bought Mehran 2003 its nice soundless Engine of 55. But its fuel consumption is very bad . Though I tuned it up but still no improvement can any body suggest and help me out why its giving such a bad average.

Mehran - 2003 - 796cc - 55

NonAC Patrol Avg - 7.2 KM/L
NonAC CNG Avg - 9KM/KG

OR suggest any good mechanic of fine tuning.

Is engine completely ok? Have u got it checked from some good mechanic? I suggest u to change ur mechanic.

Well today i travelled 770km from Isb-Lhr-Isb with 60-70 kms in Lhr city on my 2.0D 2001 and got an amazing average of 19.5kmpl
travelled 770km in a single tank filled till the top carefully loving it

Khyber 1992. R 13 tyres. Drove 300 km with 130 km on hilly area like murree nd 100km in islamabad. Average is 16 km/l

Cultus 2007 old engine, Petrol average local is 15 km/L and on CNG 190 Km/ cylinder

Can you suggest what is should be on CNG and patrol as well.

I checked more precisely and found that

NonAC Patrol Avg - 9 KM/L
NonAC CNG Avg - 11.8KM/KG

Can you suggest me good mechanic for Patrol and CNG as well. And I am unable to indentify what is the problem ?

It's CNG consumption is still good but due to bad tunning on petrol it doesn't give more than 13 kmpl within the city w/o ac.

I recently bought a Cultus Euro II and it has done til now @ 170 Km in half tank. Will touch 350 in full tank which got filled in 3,600 rupees. Fuel average must b around 10 - 11 KM/L

Honda Civic EXi Manual 2003 168000 kms done with routine maintainence from Honda Pit Stop Johar Town, gave me 13.6 km/l on yesterday refill, my daily drive is around 40 kms with 50% of time on 70-80 km/h with light foot following some hypermiling techniques.

Toyota Landcruiser HJ60, 1989, 2H 3980 cc 6 cyl diesel non turbo, got all preventive maintainence from Toyota Ravi Motors, put new thermostat valve running on coolant, giving me 8.5-9 km/l in city ma sha allah.
