Thumbs up man for your photography skills, I too bought D5100 for myself but never achieved such results...

Btw which lens do you use for normal shooting, I got 18-55MM kit with the camera?

its all about practice and knowing your camera. The Mercedes e class shoot i did was from 18-55 its a nice cheap lens if lightning is good.
if you want depth of field in the picture you'll need 35mm 1.8g (22.5k Rs) its a portrait lens but i use it on almost every shoot. Secondly you can use it under low light but don't expect wonders because the more lens you open(aperture) the more picture gets De-focused.
3rd and very important thing in a camera gear is speed gun(flash) and yeah one more important thing Adobe Photoshop 'Devil smile'

Exactly, There are so much functions to play with. Right now I am using it on P mode or sometimes Auto Mode. But I think real photography could only be achieved at M mode.

If I am not wrong the lens you are talking about is Prime lens which is $199 worth on Nikon US website. I am planning to have one that very soon!
