Once in the vicinity of Mingora I turned on my google maps to find our way to white palace and were there at about thirty past twelve , the last 5-6 km of road is narrow and under construction and in poor shape. When we reached at white palace, had to wait for about an hour because room was being vacated and later on cleaning up was delayed due Jumma prayer break. Ultimately we got settled in our room, ordered for lunch. After lunch we explored the area around till sunset. The palace/hotel is perched at a very nice spot with ubiquitous water stream nearby. We paid 2700 for overnight stay. Rooms are spacious and OK. Not grand or bad. Lawns are well maintained and it is good to sit around if weather is pleasant. The souvenirs shop inside the hotel is expensive. It is better to buy from shops located just outside at half price or less.
