Should i buy Cultus 2016 Limited Edition

Do not buy cultus, celerio is launching next year as its replacement and celerio is way ahead in tech from cultus therefore cultus owners will not enjoy same resale in future as they used to.

WR is a very good option but if you do not like it do not buy it either. Better to buy 2nd hand Alto at this time and wait for 1 year to get celerio.

Someone above said cultus runs economical yes it is but WR runs more economical. My WR In 25k kms running, never went to mechanic and i saved at least 20k -25k in fuel consumption in 25k kms running as WR is more fuel efficient than cultus.

if i would have option then i will go for WagoR - as it has new tech engine with good fuel economy.

but one point to mention that still khyber Limited edition sells like a hot cakes.

I was in same situation as you are about 4 months back. I needed a car be used by driver and for my mother / children at home. I would've gone for a Passo without thinking twice (my wife has been happily using one for 4 years now) but the only thing stopping me was how the driver will use the car. After inspecting both Cultus and Wagon R I decided to go for Wagon R VxR on following reasons.

1. More space to carry heavy luggage
2. Better air conditioning
3. Newer technology
4. Electric Power Steering
5. Good pick
6. Good fuel efficiency
7. Better interior (which is where you spend more time when you are using your car)
8. Better road clearance

Only Cons

1. A somewhat odd looking shape.
2. Due to the car's height the ride is a little bumpy which may be one can solved by putting bigger new tyres

As far as know, Pak suzuki has already got the unit of Celerio and supplier has started working on parts, 2017 will be the year, let see!

I think go for V2 as Wagon R is not going to be a hit after induction of Celerio. Even those who are buying right now do not like it's shape, they are just compromising. As soon as Celerio is being launched all used Wagon Rs will be in the market for sale, people will shift to other new options I am sure. It will result in lower resale of Wagon R.
I don't think 1300 cc engine requires high maintenance cost, its more dureable and long lasting as campared to 1000cc.

I am planning of getting Cultus 2016 Limited Edition on lease (almost 550k down for 3 years), i request forum members to please suggest me should i buy this car or not, what are the pros and cons and things like that, and if there are other alternatives with better resale value and slimier price range.

Bhai go for swift .....or any other imported one if you can bear their expensive parts. If not then swift is a hood choice.

Its confirmed as per sources in pak suzuki, but they can delay it as in 2012 when alto discontinued initially news was they will launch WR in same year or maximum next but they launched it in 2014.

btw 11 lacs are too much to spend on a more than 15 years old car. wr have bad shape but k series engine immoblizer power steering and many other latest features makes it a awesome car in 10 lacs range. btw saboor i didnt though a person like you which knows about cars will call a good car a Dabba 

Although i agree that cultus price is way more than what it should be, but then again, what would you say about toyota GLI and XLI's ? is only cultus the culprit? Mehran to lagta hay qayamat walay din say 1 din pehlay tak banani hay.
