The cars with less trunk space (hatchbacks) are very popular around the world and for your knowledge hatchbacks are the highest selling cars in Europe and out of top 5 best selling cars 4 are hatchbacks/superminis :
1. VW Golf
2.Ford fiesta
3.VW Polo
4.Opel corsa
5.Opel astra(also sold in hatchback version)

So as per your analysis Europeans are all fools who don't need trunks

When i was buying a car i drove my friend 2005 exi all petrol very well mantained .... i was willing to buy this machine as it looks are soooo hot ... but it didnt impressed me as its drive wasnt that responsive ... so i ended up with swift .... but i have all respect for civic as welll .... own opinion .... !!! chill marooo yar ....

Do you accept india's driving conditions are similar to pakistan ? Here are the top 5 best selling cars in india and check which one are hatchbacks:

1. Maruti swift (hatchback)
2. Maruti Alto (hatchback)
3. Maruti Wagon R
4. Hyndai I10(hatchback)
5. Hyndai EON (hatchback)

what an absolute JERK you are... show me a single swift/khyber etc doing all of those 'stunts' with stock suspension and tire size... what do u know about mehroz bhai's khyber? i was there on the event in which he raced against that accord, Mehroz bhai had lowered suspension and larger rims then stock, even then he was having some serious traction issues. once his engine's power broke some parts of the suspension. Wheels spin even in 3rd gear, what are all those? YES... evidence that a stock suzuki khyber cant even take a 1.5l naturally aspirated engine's power...

once a b16a engine was swapped in a cultus, i guess in islamabad, the car started to tear off its chassis, the engine was soon taken out of it, the project failed!!!

So, show me what a stock khyber or new swift can do against a civic exi... i myself had a khyber for 2 yrs, it was totally stock, on motorway @130km/h it felt soooo damn unstable... and you show me videos of super modified khybers smoking mustangs, lol... what a funny guy u are...

1. CIVIC

a. Amazing looks (You can make it look decent and as well as sporty)
b. Good Handling
c. Poor consumption
d. Just so so interior (personally dont like its interior)
e. good room space
f. Drive is not that much good as expected might differ when driven a zero meter but still not so good drive

2.Swift

a. Good Looks
b. Hot for been a hatch (if you dnt need trunk)
c. Good consumption
d. Very responsive drive (very good for city driving)
e. Nice decent interior
f. Car needs to be lowered from front
g. Excellent drive
h. No trunk
i. Less room space

My opinion:

Swift is better as it is zero meter and will be trouble free for next 5 years on other hand even a well maintained civic will be soon a mechanic seeker ..... this opinion is only valid for people who dont require trunk ....

If you need trunk than in same price range Civic will be no match ....
