We rested for almost 10-15 minutes on the top and started our descend. The descend was relatively easy as the snow was now soft and those effects of high altitude were diminishing slowly. we felt safe.
We walked for 90 minutes to reach green valleys of astore where we found water flowing down the streams. We drank fresh water after three days. and we drank a lot.
After further walking for few more minutes, we saw some tents with a lot of goats and horses wandering around. they were bakarwals who had been here since couple of weeks. We felt an immense sensation of happiness finding other human beings around us. We reached closer to the tents. Bakarwals warmly welcomed us and provided us with water and mattresses to sit on. Bakarwals were too friendly and supportive to us. It was getting darker so they advised us to fix our camps near theirs and spend the night. this place was a distance of half an hour walk away from Chandwali, Astore.
It was our third campsite.
We had nothing to eat. Those beautiful people made tea for us. a blessing. the best part was dinner. Their Ladies made special Aalu for us with garam garam rotiyaaan which was the most delicious food to us since last week. we ate. a real blessing. we were safe now and with the most mehmaan nawwaz people you could ever find.
we spent the night here. and did some photography in the morning.
