I went to Telenor Office Sadar Rawalpindi and i asked them that my sim is not in my name and i like to transfer it. They refused and said no other way and my sim will be blocked if that person don't verify it.Good thing was there was not many poeple and they have whole massive office doing verification like 20 dedicated counters for verification.

And they only asked for my cnic when i asked them to verify and transfer it on my name.

Well my postpaid and prepaid both connections were already verified before PTA notification so didn't had to stand in queue

Same here. Lost my phone so had gotten replacement Sims with bio verification.

My zong number is also verified but still receiving threats that my number will be disconected if i wil unable to verify number before deadline

Have u verified ur number recently? The threat msgs will go off within the week u have verified ur sim.Don`t worry.

Verified today finally because 13 April date seems final...
Since all the rush has finished took only 1min not even 2. Instantly got verification sms.

Well I guess its about time to block unregistered SIMs though I believe it made every SIM owner to pay atleast Rs10-30 for verification without any benefit from cellular companies. Like when I was done with verification a month ago then Ufone decides to advertise that verified SIM owner can have free minutes and sms within 15 days of verification
It should have been awarded immediately to every user.

I don't think so. Most of the SIM verification facilities are not at all crowded these days. I guess we're done.

It's official that SIM verification dates are not extending and today is the last day.
However, Any blocked SIM after today can be unblocked by visiting respective franchise to verify biometricaly.

My two Sims are blocked. While 2 are working. So yes they have really blocked sims. Specially those which are not used much.
