My scenario is very different, and i need your opinion. I am living in cantt area, and every application of electrcity meter is run through relevant cantonment board. ( it is very very difficult to deal with CB guys). I just built another portion upstairs for rent. I want separate billing for both storey. I tried months and months for a legal process for 2nd meter but i am failed till now. (can't go in details)
My question is If somehow i manage to install 3-Phase meter. is it do able to use one phase for one storey and 2nd phase for one portion. at least at the end we can see that how many units are utilized against each phase and have justified divsion of bills.

Please advise.

You can do it but still I don't think any meter will show you separate readings of energy for each please

I am also going to order but not clear that can i install it on main line coming to home so that i could calculate the load on daily basis. Issue is its ampere capacity. How much ampere range will be enough ? Like most of these digital meters have 63A range. Is it enough to install this device to calculate load of entire house?

I know this one has 80A. But i am ordering one that has high n low voltage protection along with kwh count. That looks feasible to me. But its ampere range is upto 63A.

63 A is more than sufficient. I am using for 40A usage

63A is more than enough for a household. It's roughly 10kW

3-phase are stupidily faster than single phase. You can install a new 3 phase for about 50k, while single phase for just about 10k max.. so if meter burns out, one has to pay heavy bux too for replacement... The myth about 3 phase faster imp per KWH is also true. The only advantages of 3 phase:
1) You can change to any phase (done by professional electrician only) if one or two phases trip
2) You can run heavy loads (upto 10KW on each)
3) You can avail the property of net metering (if you plan to sell your solar energy to the govt. )

P.S. you can install more than one single phase meters in one building

So my opinion is just go for single phase and save a lot of your hard earned money.
