These Maybachs are very high tech cutting edge technology laden vehicles and will not be maintainable by the local agent shahnawaz with no trained personnel.to service them
Soon they will be messed with and made nonoperational.
Total waste of funds of a poor cash strapped country .
The old Presidential Mercedes 600 is a example of why it never ran due to servicing issues.

Armoured vehicles are not stock. They are stripped down to bones and reconstructed with everything made for the purpose including the engine.

An armoured Corolla will certainly not house a punny 1300cc engine.

It's not about not equipped people, not knowing how to do the servicing.

Its about taking the funds and putting them in your pocket and not servicing the vehicle at all

These cars are designed to operate with so much heavy weight it’s not built in a local garage these high security vehicles are specially designed with additional power engine’s in Germany. These vehicles are specially named high security/armoured vehicles by BMW and Mercedes and these cars can be maintained here easily with shahnawaz as apart from oil and filter change they don’t need anything as they are new at this time.

Also there’s no big difference in the cars pick up, these cars are really fast with different suspension and the 0-100 are like under 6 seconds.

yaar if you add bullet proofing to grande it will increase weight by 230 kg to 740 kg.....depending on bullet proofing package....which is not too much....

I remained associated with an armouring industry for a while .. corolla are also being armoured in pakistan.. depends on how much protection u want or budget u have .. in short .. any car armouring will need (apart from armour stuff)
