Its not free. But doesn't need hotels. Anyone can give u their room in their house for some amount of money for one night stay or more.

After membership. Per night stay in pakistan is 200 rs per person per bed.
Only 1 in islamabad. Quite bad if have to use taxis to go and visit islamabad. But good if u have ur own convenience.

First website is something very common to find for u.
I used that in China. Stayed in a chinese house for free. I even gave one of my mattress to anotther chinese guy who contacted me and wanted to stay in me and my friends apartment for some days.
Through facebook you have to fid the most respected or most satisfactory guy of that area. Because then its safe.
Avoid new people unless u have talked with them through.
Or at least if in some area u only find new people. Then even after talking to them u have to go to their home but still not satisfied 100%. Tell ur frieds or family their home address so that they will call u on stipulated times to make sure u r ok and rest is u r smart.
