Though I'm into gadgets, I'm a bit oldschool when it comes to watches. Nothing beats an automatic timepiece on formal dresses, at least thats what I think personally. On other occassions though, moto360 looked really dandy with casual wear.
My requirements were different so I sold moto & got charge hr instead. So far, it has encouraged me to lead a healthy lifestyle.

like i said its a developing field and there is some utility to them, same could have been said of early tablets or smartphone which boasted having computer like features but people said why not use a proper laptop instead of table to get actual work done, but look at them now, so i see a bright future for smartwatches plus the aesthetic part is as important and what people dismiss at shaska is actually a valid reason to buy one, you can buy a new phone and it will spend the day in your pocket where as samrtwatch is a style statement of your lifestyle and design choice as you wear and display it on your wrist all day.

just like aesthetics matter a lot in a car sometimes more than its practicality or price, take the CLS for example.

I agree, whenever I buy something, I make sure it will look good.

Like I mentioned before, Tag is coming with a luxury smart watch in a month's time. I have a Tag (H) and I know what value it holds. So the smart watches will not be for geeks only. Its only a matter of time, when a number of choices will be available in every price range and personal statement. I am also guessing the Chinese manufacturers will be stepping in with their cheaper variants before long.

We already have the iOS based Apple watch, Qualcomm/Android Wear based various, Samsung Tizen based, and Intel/Android based Tag.
