Sold Honda City 2007 with Verification copy of Invoice

I sold a Honda City 2007 in Lahore 18 days back, which was registered in Karachi.
It was not in my name.
It had original book and original file.
But now after 18 days, the buyer contacted me saying, "The invoice of the car is duplicate. Its written 'Verification copy' on the invoice, instead of 'Customer copy'.
There is no issue in transferring the car in the new buyer's name but they are claiming that price of the car is lower due to 'Verification copy' of invoice.

I didn't know about it when I sold the car. They checked everything while buying the car. Now, after 18 days, they want compensation from me .
Can anybody suggest me how should I respond to them?
I think there is nothing fake in the documents, and I didn't hide anything while selling to them, so I have no responsibility if they think now that they have purchased the car at a higher price.

Please suggest a suitable solution.

is it equal to duplicate book we get in punjab etc
anyways if you did not lie or conceal in anyway
it was upto to them to thoroughly check everything before buying

Its better than duplicate book. Book and file both are original. Only invoice is duplicate, and I didn't know that. I didn't conceal anything while selling. They even checked the file and got it verified from someone while buying. So I guess I am not responsible for anything now.

Bro mere pass b same gadi hai 2007 city or us me b same invoice hai jis pe Verification Copy likha hai ! there is only Customer copy in Toyota Files i guess , in Honda Files its Invoice and Sales Certificate 2 things which are Orignal from the Company giving to Client Mentioning with Verification on top.

Listen from 3:00 your issues is there, Actually its not issue, in karachi we have Verification Copy Stamped on Document and in Lahore its Different.

here we don't have any issue but in Panjab People Dont buy Mentioning Verification Copy but only Customer Copy lol.

So in your Point you sold the Car with original Document and they are just making mess wit it.

Their is nothing wrong. This is how it is. If you want examples I can send toyota, Suzuki copies to you.

The guy is just messing with you. Its not duplicate unless it says duplicate.

He says k verification copy se car resale value km ho jati hai iss liye he can't take that car. And he is demanding return of full payment.

My argument is that file and book are original. Invoices are issued by the company.
But he says k agar documents me koi issue hai tou I must take responsibility.
I am attaching the stamp paper of our deal.

Please guide what should i do now both ethically and legally.

If this issue comes under my responsibility, then I am ready to take the car back. But I don't think I should return the whole amount of money. Coz they used the car for whole 18 days.

legally you are not bound to give any compensation to them because deal is finalized now seller and purchaser both parties have exchanged assets on the required letters (Transfer letter and stamp paper required by the Sindh Excise) so leggally you are free to move on with the price.

Ethically you are obligated to do some verification of that sales invoice which in your case is original. so you can take them with you to the any Honda Showroom for their verification and show them that all documents are genuine. do not be get
your self emotional and give them the all money and take back the car. if you want to do you are bound charge 5% of the selling price to them that they wasted your time.

Though you have the orignal Invoice , Someone told buyer that never buy Verififaction Copy and buy only Customer Copy lol. this is Misconception

Tell him you will return the car, if he can prove any one else is having this page saying orignal copy instead of verification copy.

Also tell him to verify from Honda in your case if this document is authentic or not.

In karachi there two sale certificates..one is customer and other is verification copy..both are original.and both are very important.but in lahore only custumer copy has importance.so if you have the last one ..then it's okay..otherwise contact to that party from where you had purchased.
