yar yey jeepp track bana kar tu naltar ka bera garak kar dia hai. i went in 2006 and 2007 and there was no jeep track till lake. i trekked in 2006 to lake.

and i fear jeeps/ roads will ruin the real beauty of naltar

Average visitors at Naltar Lake are just 10 vehicles in on day. Most people back from Naltar Bala.

Rana Sb... indeed a nice thread and SherDil efforts. A couple of questions:

1. Don't you think going to Naran, Hunza, FM, Deosai and Skurdu in one go is too much dragging oneself and ultimately feeling fed up at the end? May be it is just me as I prefer to attack one area and then spend sometime at one spot where I feel the best... e.g on my trip to Khunjerab pass, I spent three days in Karimabad just feeling lazy and going up and down. Similarly if I go to FM, I will be in FM!

2. I am surprised that you just spent 300-500/day on hotels; what is the trick here? Please share hotel information all along your trip including the quality of rooms and location. This will be really helpful. Thanks
