On Thursday 28th June 2012 , I had an Accident while coming back from Saddar in taxi (white colour), . . . The Sliver Mehan Hit us in hayatabad Phase 7 , As a result taxi rolled 5 times. . . Due to which i had 6 Piece Fracture in my Left Leg......But Now i am 85% Recovered :D.....

Thanks to almighty Allah who save my Life !!!

in other countries such cars end up in junk yards
here they are fixed, sold, and they come back on road as if nothing happened

The worst part is that the panels are not even replaced, they are straightened out. If a unibody car like this suffers roof buckle damage anywhere in the world - the car cannot get a road worthy certificate or reg plate either.

Applying local formula.. All these totaled. If I go deep the cars even not even legal to be on road as no air bags or safety standards.. Again applying my local formula.. Safety seems not s priority for local assemblers.

I have witnessed accidents in Pakistan and mostly it was due to speeding and thinking that their cars have mercedes Mclaren brakes. I dont know where the notion of "my corolla/civic is a luxury spaceship" and can defy laws of physics came from in Pakistan but - to all who think that - SERVES YOU RIGHT.

Its not just that, the driving habits here are terrible. I once saw a mercedese E class crashed near drive in cinema. It was shattered from front to back. A collegue died when a 7 series bmw crashed into his city on an intersection. People dont follow signals or speed limits, even the padestrians dont respect the law and thier lives. Many accidents are caused by padestrians and bikers getting in the way of fast moving cars.

You missed one: Broken Necks. Probably this is why our local manufacturers don't offer SRS as standard.

This is a Mercedes S500. The owner seems quite pissed off by the warning system. In case it encounters a head-on collision, do the math.
