sorry brother with the experience i had with that chair lift and cable car combination i DO NOT recommend this to families..
there is tremendous rust for these lifts..queues of 100s of ppl (and not of gentry type) after waiting and waiting once u go on.. then u have to again line up in queue in midway for the cable car..again same stuff..and in the meanwhile if it rains like the time when i was there then its a disaster for families as rain comes from all directions and ppl with small kids have nowhere to go as this is midway..we were 5 guys so not a prob.. then u load on the cable car and reach new patriata and see lots and lots of ppl waiting there for the cable car to go back so same story of return to midway queue and back to patriata..
its a nice lesson for majority of us pakistanis telling them how to wait and stand in queue's THE HARD WAY
opinions may differ..i didnt say its a bad place but the cost is too much...
