What about melting and expanding problem in extreme hot summers? Will it melt and cling to the carpet?

The material in question is already applied on some areas of the car floor from the factory.

Posting some pics for reference:

In the pics below the same material but just grey in color.

So if you are worrying about it clinging to the carpet....... well that thing is already there, we are only applying more of it :).

Also there is a layer of namda between the carpet and the floor (which would protect the carpet). If one wants to be super careful, a 2mm layer of jumbolon can be applied over the sheets. But i dont think clinging to the namda (not carpet) would be an issue.

Lanbo is available here in pindi, can ship it to u...
It is easier to apply n I had a decent exerience with it.
Jumbolon is easily available n is the cheapest option. Goto any hardware store or a shop selling mattresses...

I havent used solely jumbolon. However, if you're tight on budget and aren't using aftermarket speakers in the doors, it wouldn't hurt in testing jumbolon alone!

Installed Stinger Roadkill Expert in a friends Indus Corolla. Used 1.5sheet per door. The application was tedious but boy the result was marvellous. The door was acting as a complete shield from outside noise. There are multiple brands out there but only 2 are the best in terms of eliminating outside noise the most.

2. Dynamat

Stinger Roadkill Expert is hard to find while Dynamat is non-existent at the moment. My point is if you want to get deadening done, do it with something good since its a one time investment. Don't go after random brands. Spending 3k on random vs 5k on good brand will demonstrate the difference on first experience. Lanbo costs around 1.6 while others were available for 2k roughly

Im using stinger roadkill expert too. Just installed it a couple of weeks ago. The front cabin of my car is very quiet during driving enhancing all round effects of music greatly.

This is the most economical solution for sound deadning and much more effective than jumbo if you just want a silent cabin and not install aftermarket speakers.

Has anyone tested nvx sheets? They are apparently thicker than the rest, same price as stinger and 30% less expensive than dynamat.

dynamat are usually 18"x32" sheets, 4 Sq ft/ sheet
