the good thing about jbl is that they have 2 ohms impedance. this means u can run them on the same amp and get more power as compared to the polk audio. polk is a good speaker as well but my experience with jbl is that jbl sounds better.

do let us know which car u want to install in, what do u have in the front and rest of the car and what sort of sound do u like

Maddy bhai i agree with you I personally like JBL as well due to its neutral sounding nature but polk is slightly crispy sounding and yet the bass response is really good but amp is must in order to get the true potential of polk.... however, i was running JBL with GTO amp back in 2007 and it sounded so natural yet balanced. without amp it can even sound better.

now depends on the taste and budget of buyer....

@madhouse12: dear i basically like bass sound i dont like treble to much... I want this in my city 2006 planning to get a deck with bluetooth option probably Rockmars, and still looking forward to a four channel amp.

rockmars with polk or any gud speaker will not give gud quality u must buy branded or go for pioneer spkr with rockmars headunit

@Abrarchippa: Rockmars has alot of options in good cost thats y wat do u think f i get a good 4 channel amp with Rockmars and the speakers suggested by you?

no i have also installed rockmars in my brothers car but it dos not hav quality like branded but the dhol dhamaka is quite impressive and u can hear from opposite side of the street

In my opinion if not yet have JBL with u drop them and go for pioneer 6965v2(5.5) or 6902r(9k) with pioneer 3500T amp(6k) those will not only fulfill ur requirement for bass but also cover the drawback of ur headunit(Rockmars) due to their good SQ.

why not get a pioneer player for 13k, pioneer 6500 amp for 9k, JBL gt5 around 6-7k with box, pioneer 6865 or 6983 or sony 6941 speakers and make a better system with branded stuff...
