I bought the 9th gen hardtop iVtec-Prosmatec in late 2012 as soon as it came out. Didn't want to spend extra bucks on DVD/Navi but later i realised it is a necessity as the trunk is much higher compared to 8th gen and its impossible to see a bike or cycle etc parked behind. When i contacted honda they said we will now charge Rs.72000 as my cd panel will only be adjusted as used for Rs.5000
Had been doing a lot of market survey on after market like Rockmars etc but i was not willing to sacrifice my steering audio controls as the option was not present in the beginning with these systems. Finally last week just by the way i visited a shop and found out that Rockmars system now has compatibility for steering audio controls as well.
The audio quality is slightly better than stock system, sound is more crisp even on stock speakers which i didn't change. The video quality is not good but to be honest its very reasonable and fair. The back cam resolution also fulfils the purpose brilliantly. Price i paid was Rs.26000 and yes the audio controls work. Just sharing my experience and pics too for others who don't feel comfortable willing to spend more than 70K now. Fitting is grip 2 grip and functions do include bluetooth phone connectivity
