I wish atlas could provide all these stuff when they are already charging premium amount exclusively for turbo/RS.

Allah Allah karke kuch options toh aagaye hain PKDM cars main jab se Japanese reconditioned cars ne competition diya hai magar abhi bhi itnay options yahan offer nai kartay jab ke comparatively yahan international market se kaafi overpricing kartay hain.

I don't think so. It won't grip the inside properly and hinges would get looose, sloppy and would fall ultimately. Also, the added jerks of trunk closing would exert pressure and make the double tape loose it's grip I'm time.

Couple of more pictures during drilling

When you drill the holes, the edges are exposed and develop rust if no primer or anti rust coating is applied. Probably 10 years ago I once installed a spoiler on my indus Corolla by drilling holes on the trunk. However, when I removed the spoiler a few years later I saw rust development on the egdes of the holes made for spoiler.
