have u removed the hi mount brake light installed on the rear shelf or just disconnected it?

if the light is disconnected, gear works okay?

Not removed but instead, I connected my spoiler light to that connection.
And I don't think that it will cause any issue to gear even if it's disconnected.

if top mount brake light gets fused, the gear locks up...wont shift into R or D (in toyota)...also causes cluster warning lights, try with light disconnected...

Nothing is aftermarket design in my car.
All the stuff is OEM Si

Well, during the connections fuse burnt out.
The car denied to start.
It wasn't starting
.
So we had to put the new fuse.
.
May be that's something similar

i would suggest to get LED brake lights, caz when u press the brake pedal the spolier light wud turn on instantly but the halogens in brake lights a bit lazy as compared to LED, i wud say they wud be out of sync, to me its a bit off as well...

try philips LED brake lght bulb,

This is OEM spoiler light.
If the designer put LED in spoiler.

Looks nice, but i think the muffler on original Si is slightly wider and thinner. And i think you went for chinese spoiler rather than Taiwan. Overall look is pretty good though MashaAllah.
