I have 2017 civic turbo that's been producing a very pronounced metallic rattling/buzzing noise only once the engine reaches 2000 RPM. Above and below this point, the noise does not occur. In addition, the noise is only present when the car is in drive. If in park or neutral and revved to 2000 RPM or more or maintaining a speed there is no noise.
It appears to be coming from the engine bay area, possibly more towards the driver side and from outside there is no sound and i visted the honda fort they take a test drive and they did't found it and after lifting it they saw a hit by i guess speed breaker they were like is ko change kerwa ly awaaz khtam hojy gi and i am thinking ager catalytic ka masla hoto i guess sound should be audiable from outside to and they give me estimated price of 55 thousand so please give me your suggestion what is the problem and it start coming just after i take my car in s mode using paddle shifter and just hitting 160 on 5 gear after just one run and giving me this sound
