Zulfiqar bhai if you have degree in mechanics you must know how the the structure of new spark plugs helps to improve performance ignitiblity, 0.4 - 0.6 mm spark tips does not only reduce the voltage requirement and lesser misfirings the spark plugs same as charged plates capacitors greator the inferfacing surface and distance among two plates greator would be the voltage requirement BUT THE MAJOR SIGNIFICANCE OF USING THESE SPARK PLUGS IS BETTER FUEL ECONOMY AND GIVE ME THE EXAMPLE OF TODAY OTHER THAN HONDA CITY AND CIVIC HAVING MOST EFFICIENT FUEL ECONOMY IN PETROL! In PAKSITAN

Stock spark plugs are only made for stock cars .. I will suggest every one who have stock cars must use stock wires ..

Whatever I say henceforth shall land on blocked signals, I can tell you literally about flame propagation, the arc gap between the electrodes, the rise time for the coil (where applicable), how it affects fuel economy/power ouput but why should I? (refer to line one of post)

why do you think that it donot give performance ?? what if lesser misfiring would be there hence effiency would increase results in greator performance .... but if engine has lower out put then it is limited but in mehran and bolan platinum effects its initials and economy.. but the degree of increase in economy is not that much thats why u dont consider ... by intials i mean quicker start as car would needed lesser voltage .

As per my knowledge, these cables have a certain burn-in period after which they perform at their best. so dont you think Brand new cables producing almost the same power as the stock, used cables is a sign that once these cables complete their burn-in period, they would perform better?

this Burn-in theory is quite true for Home Theatre Cables etc.

in the dyno session the reason they mentioned about the age of wires being 8 years old is to show people even with such a high life spam nearby 8 years if they are fine they give the same performnce as comprad to aftermarket ones

SOME RESISTANCE IS NEEDED TO PROLONG THE ARC DURATION AS ITS ESSENTIAL TO BURN A LEANER MIXTURE ASWELL
some tests have shown to much of low resistance spark in some conditions have a weaker spark now i wont show the PROVED tests cause i know the mod will again delte all my effort yes low resistance is better

it is better to remove the confusions by telling the reality...but just not giving verdicts but explaining the whole story .......and i really need to know how this dilemma is dealt technically.........to layman like me its pretty obvious that spark plugs do help but what in technical words they do to ignition system.......so open the taps plz...........koe parhey na parhey me zaroor parho ga........

how Spark plugs work?

Very Simple Ignition coils/plug wires make them ignite with air fuel in the combustion chamber.

And more simpler thing is Iridium Spark plug produces more spark then Copper 1.So more spark means better combustion of fuel hence efficent combustion.

Yet plugs should be chosed as per the motors requirement specially incase of aftermkt setup. So for the same reason I dont agree wth the very first post of Mr. Spoon as it not mentioned which plugs have been used.2ndly materials do change their properties whn they r put in certain conditions so dyno should have been performed after some runnin.

The role of ignition coils/plug wire is to supply charge to Sparkplug to make it ignite.Less resistance means more charges delivered n better glow of plugs.

^^combustion is sort of a chain reaction, once u light one part of the fuel, no matter how small spark you use, it spreads through out the air/fuel mixture in almost no time ( so small amount of time that a bigger spark would only make a difference at very very high rpms ).

Due to this reason on common street cars you would never really feel the difference. But on bikes and other high rpm engines you might feel difference. So platinum plugs etc would only give you more life....

the plugs which were used in the session were oem plugs ngk ones and i don't think they were using different plugs in the 3runs as they were checking the wires not the plugs+oem plugs are good all u need is a colder plug if you are going high on compression(NA obviously) 10-11cr brkr6 i believe are good 11-12 bkr7 above 12 bkr8 maybe u need to change plugs when u REALLY NEED TO
this thread has nothing to do against iridium or platinum plugs neither am i against aftermarket silicon wires My main point is You Need to know where and when you need to change your plugs to iridium or platinum changing wires..............all the efficiency comes when you use colder plugs(in some cases there are disadvantages of using a high step colder plug it depends on your setup) for example using JUICE/BOOST/HIGH CR/HIGHER OCTANE where your copper/v-power plugs provide hotter spark which you need to stay away from

even suzuki 3s service shop recommends for denso ik20 in swift for increase in performance note that it is already equiped with irridium spark plugs .. now what if you insert platinum and to takke ka copper
