Guys I always wondered when I saw such good numbers like 5000, 5050, 2020, 123, 50 etc etc that how they got them???

A few of my neighbours here in Defence have all their cars with same numbers just letters are different and the number is their house number like 464 or 465 ... who do these guys pay to get such maanpassand numbers??? The car dealers or the registery agents??? And how much approx any ideas guys???

I got a baleno with 777. I selected the car by viewing its No.plate with 777 only and luckilly its a very clean ride with no issue

since 464/465 is a regular number, anyone can get it simply by Requesting the Excise officer. Prices are set on Special numbers like doubles and Triples plus 786 and a few Others. Those are Government controlled and may have an additional cost In case Someone else Also wants.

Just a question, if a car has already been registered, can we purchase personalized plates or special number plates for that car separatley like in the states and in the UK?

I think the number plated should be affixed permanently to vehicle chasis/body. Vehicles should not be allowed to leave the dealership till there is a registered number.

I don't think it's a regular number it's more like a customized/preference number so I'm sure the person must have paid someone to get it. I just wanted to know if someone on here got a preference number then how much did they pay for it and to whom???

In another thread I read a member paid a car agent 50,000 to get his new car registered with a 2 digits number, so if anyone knows about these rates plz shed some light, thanks
