I have always preferred Manual Cars more than Auto ones but this time i prefer the Altis Auto more than its Manual version because its Tiptronic!!!

You are talking about two things here:

1. Firstly, in the old 7th gen civic, ALL Vti models (NON ORIEL INCLUDED) come wiith electronically retractable sideview mirrors. The way you are framing the sentence you are making it sound like only Oriels came with retractable mirrors, which is not the case.

2. Yes on the new 8th gen Civic it is true that only oriels come with retractable mirrors.

bro, the point is that what toyota people are saying is technically not possible..
i mean why does it not click in their minds when they say 15" alloys & 15"disc brakes.. even if it says so in the brochure, the moment they read it, they should know that its a typo.

May be ur ryt , but as far as i noe , Only Oriels had power retractable mirrors even in 7th gen civics !! well i had tht 2001 model brochure (ven 7th gen was launched), and read tht many times(but may b i dont remember xactly) , may be they gave this feature in Vtis from eagle eye onwards ! afta 2004 ! may be

There is NO maybe.

I have 3 Civics in the old shape, including the launch model (NON ORIEL, REPEAT, NON ORIEL & NON-EAGLE EYE).

It -HAS- retractable sideview mirrors.

Then I also have a 2004 Vti, with "eagle eyes" again NON ORIEL and it has retractable side mirrors.

vti last shape had retractable mirror even without oriel tooo...!
