well i am not a rich guy.... just sold my xe 98 last month as i am moving to Dubai..... but it delayed for 2 months so for in-terim period of 2 months i bought this Vitz. I will drive it for 2 months and will sell it before i leave. So thats why using it on petrol.

By the way today oil prices in international market came down to 15 months low at $68 per barrel. Now if you find out that in Musharraf govt when oil prices were at $68 per barrel, what was the per litre cost in Pakistan. As far as i remember it was around Rs. 55 per litre and now it is Rs. 82 per litre..........so lets keep our fingers cross and wait when this govt will bring it to atleast Rs. 60. (which is not expected form this stupid govt which does not even has any direction to which they should go)

Thts quite strange. On CNG its fine, this is a common problem..happens with me too. It has something to do with the torque converters i think. But the OD gear should work properly on petrol. Storm a famous member here..has taken his vitz till 171 km/h (as far as i remember) on petrol with no performance mods.

dear dnt i u want ur car run full meter in vitz v-vti engine yes possible my dear first replace ur (1) fuel pump in tank
(2)check ur oil injectors vitz has 4 injectors on the top of engine cover.
inshallah ur vitz run full meter..

Brother i did't understand what u want to say. can u please explain this in detailed but simple words. mine is just reaching 120 (with O/D) on petrol.

get ur feul filter changed, air flow sensor cleaned and throtle body khulwa k saaf karwa loo ! i was facing the same problem on cng n petrol ! i drove in the 3rd gear for 2 hrs on the motorway n my valves were burned ! now its on petrol n goes over 150 !
i had 40kg cylinder n i used to get 110-120 without a/c localy n 150 on long without a/c ! buhat mushkil hai 110 say oper jae o/d k sath !

How much fuel filter will cost? And also which is the best transmission oil for vitz (auto) and any idea on the price?

i have already done all of your suggestions, even i have replaced Air Flow Sensor, and also removed the CAT but still not so much improvement.

Well guys, i have done everything including change of oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter, removal of CAT, complete tuining including cleaning of throttle body, sensor near air filter etc etc.

But still the mileage which my Vitz 99 A/T on petrol in giving me 10km/Litre, which is way too low.

Can someone help me on this please..........My cars pick and running is also smooth and no issue regarding that.

comeon guys u made me tense..... i was thinking to get one vitz but now i think mehran is far better.... really i get it 110 km/h easily on cng.... so it should cross 120 on petrol... and gives me a mileage of abt 130 kms in local... and i drive it on high rpms! and sice the time i bought it just minimal maintainence is required!!!

Don't be afraid yaar. Its just something wrong with the setting of my car, otherwise i strongly recommend you to go for vitz. Once you drive this car, the other 1000cc pakistani cars will be a peice of crap in front of vitz. So don't worry its just that i am unable to go to any expert mechanic thats is why my vitz is giving me low milage.

i m totally agree with usman_hafeez2000 , vitz has no match in the markeet. just be sure that u can find a good condition car.

its all ok and normal.
i am facing the same circumstances and working to get some solution out.
at the moment the status is that i am looking for detailed infromation regarding converting automatic transmission to manual gear system.
the reason being , lot of engine power is consumed in operating autotransmission. logical!
loss of engine power means less speed and more fuel consumption.
i have got price from only workshop so far, of doing this, and its around 20000 including fitting.
still some technical issues i want to discuss on pkwl forums, so keep in touch with me , if u are convinced!

I would have gone for the conversion but as I mentioned in my earlier post that I will be moving to Dubai in January as I got a job there, so I will sell this car in December end probably. So for 2 months time I don't want to put myself in hassle of conversion.

However, today I went to Nazir Motors in G8 behind chamber of commerce building and got the tuning done. Now pick is much much better. Will note the conversion too now. Let see.

But I am interested in knowing about your success in conversion coz may be instead of selling, my brother but this car from me, then I will advice him to convert. By the way from where you are getting it done? Which workshop.... Pindi or Islamabad? Have they done it before on any other vitz?

dear all, i have vitz 2004 model. my car is working very fine on CNG. average in local 140km and long 200km on 120km/per hour sharp speed, i have installed 55 cylinder.
now question is: why my car is working fine on CNG . my friends, there is only some settings issue that's why we didn’t received proper response on CNG.
try to install TOMASETTO LOVATO NEW CIP 4 plus, i hope your problem will be resolved as i am using this advancer in my three cars and receiving very proper response.
