Can you tell the model no. of the 2 ton panasonic you bought and for how much? Is it R22 gas based or R410 and is it cooling only or cooling+heating?
I have Panasonic 1.5 tons (EcoNavi) and Acson 1.5 tons. The Acson's cooling is simply too good. Panasonic is just so so. No comparison to Acson. I had a Haier 1.5 ton before I bought the Panasonic and even it's cooling was better. My experience with Panasonic has not been so good
Install a Panasonic CS-US18SKH-5 and it will change ur view of Panasonic!
Go for Panasonic CS-US18SKH-5... it uses R410 but is only cooling! Just installed it a month ago and it blows away the competition when u press Powerful button on the remote... It is made in India by Panasonic but uses 100% copper tubing unlike Sharp and has the reliability of Panasonic... Used Panasonic econavi Malaysia model for 5 years now shifted to this for electric saving... so I know Panasonic is reliable! But this AC feels much cooler than my non-inverter when I press Powerful button! (Even though it is made in India and that was made in Malaysia)
using panasonic econavi 18mkf from past 6 years without service. in karachi my parents and my nephew, nieces shifted to my room when temp is 45degrees above because all other a/cs fails in that temp.
18MKF is T3 model, rated to work perfectly upto 55C.
Majority splits are T1, mainly designed for upto 43C, that's why they fail.
Panasonic super tropical models are cooling beasts.
thats why recommending panasonic
