well really i will hav to agree that the back side is a step down.but other then this all the other things hav been improved for sure.specially the engine.

nd to those comparing it wid xli,i'd say that this city is gonna bang the new xli really hard.as it has a tonn of more features then the xli,nd wud b less costlier then xli too,ok the shape frm the back is not soo gud,but theres nothing like this city frm front.the engine is powerful,not like the underpowered new xli:P

Here are some observations

This car is definitely the low end model.
There is no exhaust pipe finisher either.

Its now guaranteed that the car will not have side impact protection bars like euro model which is great as it gives the car a much more cleaner look.

It wont have side mirror signals just like India. Not even the top model.

The antenna is a slandered part of this car and has been like this all over the world in the new city.

The tires will be 185/r15 65 i think and the hub caps are same as Indian model

No high mount brake light atleast in this model

no searchers at front (that a no brainer considering the other things MIA )

4 nut wheel design

BTW the car is launching in JAN for sure

bro seems like ur right that this is the base model ,but we cant say for sure.bcuz we dnt know if this is the one which is to b produced in pakistan or the one which is imported to test the car.but i hav a feeling that this is the base model which is actually produced here in pakistan,bcuz in less then a month,they r launching the car,nd its impossible that they are NOW testing the imported car.so this must b the one produce here.nd if its missing such small things like exhaust pipe finisher,stop lamp nd black door handles,its such a shame.these thing r a herritage of corolla:) nd honda ppl better leave it to them.
i hope the production model has better things to distinguish between low and top models.
tyres look more like 175.as in india,its 175 so cant b 185 in pakistan.but wat matters more is the brand of tyre not the size.even if they put 205 generals sized tyres,one has to change them:(
nd brother those r not impact bars:) those r just,u can say,scratch protecting bars:)
impact bars r the one located inside the door,made of hard metals to save the occupants in case of an accident.

@ wahab59: Bro there was no emblem or label on the car being test driven. The driver was a trained driver (may be employee of Honda). He was driving normally but sped away after he saw me taking pics, i didnt sped after him as he was overtaking from the left side.

I know i have booked one myself. I said its launching in Jan cause there was confusion between jan and feb. Anyway its launching on 25th oj Jan and price of auto would be around 1350 and manual is 1280 almost.
