Hi saad it took one and half year to restore the car. Parts were all there only few thing were missing which was very hard to find .I drive the car once a month .

The pictures of the interior and engine are amazing. The car looks brand new. Very nicely restored job indeed. I have few questions in my mind. Was the engine in working condition when you bought it from the auction or its fixed by some mechanic in Karachi. It sure is hard to believe that a car workshop still exists which can understand and fix the mechanical issues of such a jewel. Another question i wish to know is do you have to change air filter and spark plugs in this car like our present time cars if yes are those parts available from anywhere?

Love this car. I would buy this car any day over those lambos,ferraris or mercedes. This is one heck of a car.
I think the price is not inflated at 2 crores. This car would easily fetch between 4-5 crores in sothebys or christries auction in Uk or anywhere else in the world.
Check out there websites and you can have a fair idea of its value.

There seems to be some obsession with the price rather than the other qualities of this lovely automobile.

On another note and rather a sad one at that, the Rolls Royce Phantom V gifted by the last Amir of Bahawalpur in 1968 to the Government of Pakistan was quietly sold off in 1992/3 to someone who then sold it off and exported it out of Pakistan.
As a nation we have no qualms or regrets about selling off presents and our history/heritage
What a sad loss.

I also noticed the price interest actually the new generation is just impressed if the price of the item is high otherwise they hardly have any interest about history or heritage or culture of their own damn land. Only better education for the masses can change this.

Hi regarding your question about indicators lights I guess in 1924 they did not had any concept of brake or indicators lights.As the car was locked in the palace for 40 years i did'nt had to do much to the engine as it is in original condition . The car has done 9000 miles there is no air filter in the car. The spark plugs has to be changed just as the present day car and the plugs had to be arranged from UK.Here are some photos for you guys.

Nice to hear from you and more pictures of this beauty are always welcome. As you say earlier there was hardly any use of brake and indicator lights at the back have you added them now ? What was the use of the small indicator type lights on the top of each front wheel then? I thought those were indicators ?

I have not added any thing on my own the small lights on top of each wheels are dim lights which are original.
