bhai it is like status symbol for such people. the more security you have the more powerful you look (for other such people). one thing i hate is how police protects these people but offers no security to common person. yaar yahan to police choroon se mili hoti hai aam awaam ke liye ek banda bhi help nahi karta. aur in ke liye itne protocol dete hain as you said as if they are hiding from hitler.
