The 0-60 time drop from 4.6 to 3.5 accounts more to the weight reduction than 50hp power increment.

I can't recall ANY Mercedes that can match this in acceleration or handling. Not even CLK-DTM perhaps!

BMW seems to follow the trail of VW/Porsche/Audi which try to make the best use of cubic displacement and power generated from it instead of other car makers that i can name, which put in a 7.0 V8 and brag that it can rival a 911 Turbo.

juss cant imagine ... never liked m6 ... but this specific car made me chang my mind ..

From what i know, AMG cars are cart on the track when compared with M cars and Audi's RS range.

Last time i checked on about 65 Series AMG, it handled bad. Black Series is more like visual-wow-factor rather than proper engine tweaks. 7:36 for SL means its faster than a 911 Turbo, WHICH i highly doubt! =p

Like i always say..
Anyone can drive a Merc, real men drive BMW! right ateekt?
