Even EID wasnt gonna stop me. Started off with the front doors. Left with the rear doors and trunk section.

Results are brilliant. Thinking of getting another bulk pack and doing the floor and a,b,c pillars too.

Did the trunk lid, trunk floor, rear wheel arches and rear seat under body floor.

Take out the rear parcel shelf and you will see the lack of any carpet/ sound insulation padding. Bummer.

Tight bolts? WD-40 to the rescue (H)

You dont need to remove the upper seat portion to remove the lower seat. Simply push the two white tabs at the base of the lower seat section and the seat pops up. This is what you will see.

Hsd to deal with this... EWWWW.

The rear panel is held by 2 10mm bolts at the base. Remove those and then it just the clips.

Final outcome. Even covered all the horizontal section of the trunk next to the tail lights and spare wheel ( not visible since I forgot to snap those).

Will post pictures of the damped rear seat underbody and horizontal sections in the morning.

Deciding on going for a triple layered sound insulation on the car. I just drove from islamabad to peshawar at speeds varying between 110-130 and the sound inside the cabin has improved alot. Note my car is running on some aggressive threaded 195mm wide Bridgestones which were super loud at 100+ especially for anyone sitting in the back. Thankfully not anymore. To further reduce the cabin noise, this is the layering I will follow.

1) Base layer: Stinger Roadkill Damping Sheets ( To eliminate metal rattle and the initial stage of sound insulation )
2) Secondary Layer: Closed Cell Diamond Jumbolon Foam ( To reduce minor rattles and outside noise by acting as a sound absorber )
3) Tertiary Layer: Open Cell Sound Insulation Foam ( This is the stock grayish soft insulation foam that is found as the only sound insulation sheet in almost all the cars )

The only Layer Im gonna miss out on is a sound barrier sheet which is not available here. Once my budget is up and about, will try sourcing SecondSkin MLV Noise Barrier sheets Insha Allah. Another insulation sheet is the Hood Kit which also be added at a later stage.
