Rear Stage Upgrade: Morel Primo 804
Since I sold the JL Audio 12W3v2, I've been looking at different subs for this car. The open cabin meant I wasn't looking for something like a 12" so it was either a smaller 10" or ideally an 8" sub. In came the JL Audio 10W1v3 and the JBL Stage 810. I tested both of these in my car and while I really liked them, it was the Primo 804 that sound right in its recommended box in this car. The tight accurate bass that came from it's 0.6 cu/ft box was somewhat lacking from the JBL and while the W1v3 was at par with the morel, it definitely wasn't capturing the details on the low notes like the Primo. This became evident when we switched the subs and realized who was the winner in that particular case

In order to protect the sub from getting bashed in (since the Primo does not come with the Iconic Morel protective grill), I took the metal grill from a JBL CS-1214T and screwed it into place.
