actually they did have the same wires new too.... these i got for the cars (pretty cheap) so i was wondering if these cables are ok....

everything finally in place luv it BUT still not getting the feel i wanted from this sub. also faced a problem

if i just switch on the car, turn the cd player ON and close it, the sub makes a DUM sound that kinda feels like the sub is kinda screwd..... If i run the system awhile and close the pre, the sub just dies like it should (just as normal speakers do)

Even at full volume, the interior lights or headlights are not dimming (at idle engine speed), yet im scared that i mite be overpowering the sub but the sub just dsnt seem to hit the lows like i want it to.

Which songs you are listening ....? Might be they are rated at loud frequencies and you are considering them lows?

1)Also that dum sound is there because its cold now so amp capacitor got cold and when you suddenly power up it frequently charged up therefore ....

2)Moreover Its a common problem in magus ,As I listen the same sound when I used to wired my 2x 307D4 with the same amp ....Don't worry!

How your headlights going to dull when your car got horny big alternator ,Also might be your setting is not correct from amp ......Ask maddy or Splfanatic to tune your setup !

amp was tuned by spl and madhouse checked it at the time of installation.... so no worries there......

as for the DUM, thank god its not a serious problem cuz i thought maybe i was screwing the sub already

other then that, attached the amp to the back of the box for space saving and the New Havoc Tech BoomBox is ready. took a few snaps so enjoy

Donno about dum sound never had one , might be lose grounding issue of Pre or amps.. Other than that what settings u r running ? I see a nifty bass remote for magus

With magus it's advised to not to use any artificial bass i,e bass boost , loudness etc ...just use amp gain and turn everything to nill...for clean rms

the doum sound is faulty RCA or ground issue of HU or weak ground of amp or RCA running with power wire:)

there both same guage........ only the live wire is transparent and the gnd wire is solid....

I also read on meny forums that never push a new sub to its limits, run it at half power or less and let the sub break in... 10 hours for this sub ( some people said on other forums ) plus arsalan bhai also said same thing.

This was the reason y i wasnt enjoying the full potentials of the sub yesterday and was complaining. Pushed it a bit to see what it really can do and made a video too

Also made a few changes to the HavocTech Enclosure

lowered the gain a bit by spl's advice and the DUM sound has finished

uploading the video....... problem is i had to convert it cuz orignal file was kinda too big so i dont know if that mita affected the sound quality too.....

Have u tuned the system by keeping the eq flat. Cuz with Powerful preset, the amp will run out of head room
