bhai the comps, 4ch amp, big3 and peel&seal still left only then will i be giving a demo cuz whats the use of a imperfect setup.... till then id like to check that beetle first the way arsalan bhai talked about it when v met up, i think a demo is needed indeed

Fiddling with the bass knob is not advised. It will only add linear distortion. If u really need some kick in Fr than ise from pre. Cuz pre's eq is much superior than the bass boost circuitry of the amp

^^^ so ur suggesting i should disconnect the knob completly??? just use the amp gain and set the eq from pre....

i mean somtimes even in a spl setup, at high volumes u still wana enjoy ur music from the comps and speakers with some light bass from the sub..... now my amps gain is fixed for the sub and my eq is also set but the only way to lower the bass output would be by the knob innit? the pre is only giving me the options of SUB on/off, Sub freq and BassBoost which i dnt use.

in that case i will need to use the knob right?

You can only use the bass knob to lower down the boost only and only if you have given some boost from it already.

In that case get a pre with sub level which you can decrease on your preference.is present in all 3 rca pre

Than take it to minus ...I usually keep my sub level at -8 ,even at -18 at full SQ mahol

The enclosure is not an spl enclosure, its a sql one, 3.8cuft net 33hz with moderate port area, a play range from 25-50hz , thats not what you call a spl enclosure :P. Its meant to go loud and stay clean and play almost everything, wat you are playing in video is about 40+hz so just see how good the box is doing being tuned arnd 32-33 :).

soooo due to some misunderstandings between the member who was selling the crunch amp, me and another pw friend, the crunch isnt the 4-channel amp i will buying after all...

Now the updates are:

4-channel amp: Addzest apa4204

Components: Sony 1621's yet these wont be upfront in the doors (A)

Rears: No these will not be the alpine type G's (which are not for sale anymore)

SO what the heck is going on????

Answer: Something Different

when spl was tuning the speakers, he was amazed at the sound of the alpines saying they were very natural and flat. The sony components have excellent tweets yet the mids are WELL not that good.

so the plan is to keep the alpines upfront, put the sony tweeters on the dash and move the sony mids to the rear. HELL lets see how this experiment turns out to be

OH and 1 more thing...... the sub is getting around 350rms(dirty)@4ohms at the moment...
PLAN: 700rms(clean)@1ohm
how this will be done by splfanatic, i dunno. What i do know is he CAN do it and said he will (after i do the big3)
