Sri Paye Marka,Manna Meadows,A round trip of whole valley

So after spending some time on Siri lake we moved torwards paye meadows.Paye is 2 km from siri at the hieght of 10,500 Ft.

Paye meadows basically a heavenly place lush green meadows which has lot of natural beauty.

Paye 1 is a Jeep stand where Jeel drop the visitors.

Paye 2 is a place where is a small lake infront of makra mountain

Paye 3 is base of makra .

There is not any hotel there but in season some locals have some small type of camp where u can get some food stuff which is costly but will advise you to take food stuff with you.

The best season to visit paye is May to end of september.after that it close due to winter and in january around 15 to 20 feet snow cover all the area.

If u would like to disribe paye in one word then its weather,it has really a unpredictable weather really,one day stay u can enjoy a lot of variety of weather,if morning will be sunny,afternoon will be cloudy and then rain.but its really cold place.U have to bring warm clothes and good quality camp here with all arrangment u can enjoy paye meadows.Here is weather booster which consider the most busy weather booster of Pakistan.

Makra is worth seen mountain between Kaghan and Azad kashmir.Its not such huge like K2 or Nanga parbat(12,744 Ft)but its between one of famous mountain of Kaghan valley.It has the shape like Spider and has 8 different ways which leads you different tracks.Thats why it called Makra and no doubt its the biggest Spider on earth.

To climb makra peak u have to track around 6 hours,its a moderate type of climbing but some death occur.Some student of Punjab university were on Makra trip but then they disappeared and nobody knew about them.Locals has the believe that single person cannot come back from Makra.Thats mean u also have to track in group.From top u can enjoy the view of Muzaffarabad,Malika purbat,Musa ka musallah,Thandiyani,Kashmir,Hazara and many other places.

So after put the camps at the paye meadows we took lunch and very a little bit tired because of jumpy jeep track.Some would like to sleep but i were anxious to see the Makra beauty,because i heard lot about the makra so want to see it clear in front of mine so i decided to move towards it

Suddenly clouds came around the makra peak and i was agree that time Paye Meadows has really unpredictable weather.

And now Makra was infront of me that was a feeling

After capture makra magical beauty i returned back but on my way my friends were coming towards it and i decided to go back to capture its more shots and then we have some amazing shots of it and self photography as well.

beautiful pics.I have been to this place when I was in class 8 & we camped at Paye 3 (base of Makra).
In 2007 I visited the place again with my family & my 3 years old son acompany me.
We also visited Sharan ,Manna Medaows & Danna Medaows in the same tour of 2007.And I use to drive my own 4x4 in all tours
But man your camera skills are amazing & impressed me..its always the hand behind the wheel & man behind the machine.

Well u are really lucky to have a traveling these beautiful places so early but i m just beginner in it.I started this year Shogran in winter,Fairy meandows in May,Siri Paye in May,Saif Ul Malul and lulusar in June,Dudipat in June(that time it was frozen),Then dudipat again in July and then had a plan to Ratti Gali in September which could not attempt due to some reason and inshAllah next year will do it.Would like to say we are living a really beautiful paradise(Pakistan) but we are really unlucky to unknown about its beauty.

I need some information regarding to Danna meadows plz give me any ur id or contact so we can be in touch with each other.Thanks again for ur liking.

We were busy to capture Makra beauty.But then suddenly very cool breeze started and beleive me i spend night at Fairy Meadows but this time Paye meadows was very cold even i was in leader jacket but i was feeling really cold so that time we captured some more shots and came back becoz it was near to be rain.

So after captured the shots we ran towards our camps becoz its near to rain.And had a nice sleep.After some hours i got up and look outside of my camp it was around sunset.So it the golden chance to capture Makra during sunrise i said to friends and we again went towards makra to capture some sunrise view.

The weather was very clear sky was like cystal My friend told me it was cats and dogs rain i was sleeping that time but now the weather was very clear every thing is looking clear.and then we capture some amazing shots.

and when we reached O my God what a beautiful view that was the golden lights around the makra created a majical affect.It was really beautiful,splendid.

It was near to sunset we captured alot so these are the last shots of the day.I was really consider myself very lucky that in one day i saw many aspect of nature and thanks to Paye Meadows which provide me this oppertunity.

So after having these shot we came back to our camps because it was really cold there.Even it was 31 May,2010 but the temprature was really very cold then we had a nice sleep because tomorrow we had plan to round visit to whole valley specially a place which is called "Manna Maedows".

Very Nice Trip and love the Photography, our Motherland is very Beautful but need to be explored and preserved as we have habit of polutting the nature with foods and other things.

I got up to take a sunrise shot and id did it it was really cold that time and i just took a single shot and back to my camp due to cold.

So next day we got up around 8 am and it was really clear sunny day.We took out breakfast and then capture some shots surrounding,Today we had a plan to visit Manna Meadows.So we asked about it to local people.They told us that Manna is around 3 to 4 hours from here by track.He sent a local guide too with us.So we packed all the things and was preparing ourselves for Manna Meadows adventure.

and after that we started to moved towards makra again because from there we have to travel to Manna Meadows

From there we saw many local kids were enjoying playing cricket there.Really they are enjoying real life here.

And after having some sports shots we started our track to Manna Meadows.

Manna meadows is really beautiful place full of natural beauty,its located very right side of Makra mountain.Atleast 4 hours taught flop vertical hiking from Paye meadows u can explore this beautiful place.

Manna Meadows is 8000 feet above from sea level.Its lush green meadows where u can get the many aspects of natural beauty.Best season to come this place is August when u can find out hundred of flowers at the meadow.Overall its good place if u want to explore the whole valley then this track is best for you.From Manna meadows you can track to shogran also which is at least 3 hours from here.You have to pass Peering Village.There is also a forest rest house.

really wonderfull pictures and locations brother, i must say u r describing your journey very well,, i have heard a lot about siri, paye but now after looking at these shots, i am very eager to go there, do u know any group or guide who can arrange a hike up the makra mountain... that will be a lifetime experience.
