SSDs should be mandatory in every system
Western Digital, Sandisk, Kingston are good brands
If u just need a boost in speed then u can get PNY, ADATA for a boot drive as well just don't store important data on these.
Almost Any modern SSD can saturate SATA bus nowadays, the only difference is write cycles durability between brands.
I'm using King spec 128GB in my laptop for boot drive (original kingspec, even kingspec has several grades and copies) since 2017. The drive is literally abused by SSD standards as I hibernate on it 4-5 times a day + swap storage + windows 10 + chrome yet it is performing well enough (10 second boot to desktop / resuming from hibernation), another 2 to launch chrome.
Even if it dies today it cost me less than Rs. 100 a month and saved me hours of time that I'd have spent in front of wait screens.
