Thank You once again KaAS (Karachi Astronomers Society) for such a wonderful time and star party. This time the weather was pleasant and I also had 5D MK II to capture some of the best shots of stars so far, so I hope everyone will enjoy with me through the pictures. Those who could not make it were truly missed and specially Khalid Marwat sb, hope you get well soon. This time everything was very much pre-arranged and credit goes to Imran bhai..

I would personally like to thank everyone for such a awesome get-togather, and sincerely hope to lot of them in near future.

Good astronomy pictures . If you give some description of stars ,names their positions than it will be very informative for us. But I also say it is very educational trip.

Good astronomy pictures . If you give some description of stars ,names their positions than it will be very informative for us. But I also say it is very educational trip.

The very first picture of the post by Hanif Bhai shows the constellation of Orion - the Hunter. Though it's not complete in the picture (missing the arms), most of the constellation is quite brilliantly covered by a fantastic picture.

The green laser is sort of pointing towards the Sword of Orion (the stars in line parallel to green laser beam) which holds a great Star forming region called Orion Nebula (M42). The three stars in a diagonal row about the sword is the Belt of Orion.
