Starter not turning over after the engine is warmed up

I have recently rebuild my Mehran's engine (completely). It's starting fine when cold but soon after the engine is warmed up and i shut the car down (for example switching off engine at petrol pump) the starter (self) is not taking load (not turning over). It's acting like a dead battery but the battery is properly charged. As soon as the engine cools down a bit, the starter works normally and car starts on first self. What could be the reason?

Check the timing of the car
Too much advance timing cause this as well
If every thing is fine then ur starter motor need service n bush change
Hot engine need more power to revive due to friction

Check the leads to battery first they might be weak. Next change the starter.

I Have serviced the starter few days back and it had been working perfectly with the older engine. The problem has started with the new engine.

Check the timing of the car

Dear, when u unable to start the hot engine.......remove the cable of distributor which is connected to the ignition coil, or remove the spark plug cables.......if then the self dose not operate normally than its battery or starter system problem........if it revolve normally then its Timing issue as already mentioned in the above post........

some times over sized pistons and piston rings are used while rebuilding the engine..which makes pistons hard to move in cylinders....on heating they r kinda stuck in cylinders making it impossible for startr motor to turn it.....

i guess in such situation if u push the car a bit it will start instantly caz pushing will unlodge the pistons in cylinder....

starter works ok upon coolong down as metal contracts....

moreover desi mekaniks keep timing advance to break down the engine quickly...

gofor a loooooooooooong drive ...i believe it willsort ur prob

I tried by removing the coil wire from the distributor and than starting but the problem persists.

Yes. Now the piston size is 0.5. Originally it was size 0.

Firstly check the ground wire on the starter it might be burnt or loose(happened in my case.)

Replaced the starter with a genuine used starter and it solved the problem.
