evry time i fill my carz tank wid only hi-octane ...no super ....not enen a drop ..

plzzz tell me ,,tht hi-octane is good or it will harm ma carz engine...

i fill evry time with hi-octane coz de manual sayz 91 or higher octane number iz prefer

It must be a tuf competition cause Lancer 1.6L also has CVT gearbox. But u have an advantage of light weight & VTEC over it. Anyway best of luck. Lets see what will happen.

@Retro bro, I think you should check the car manual for any fuses that relate to the trany lighting but I would suggest you to go to Honda and get it checked cause it may not require opening the center console.

why steermatic went out of market? can anyone explain reasons. the common reason is honda was selling each unit in loss. thats why they pulled out from market. well they could have increase the price of the car instead of completely extinguish it.

in response to why steermatic failed, yaar in pakistan all nice cars take a beating, i have mentioned this several times before. Take a look around, other kool cars like Sunny and Lancer are also not doing that well and i dont wanna start any arguments but we all know the crap that is simply adored by our majority of population

I had a trip to Lahore and back in December and the car gave me 18.4 km/liter. I made the same trip last week and it gave me 14.5 km/liter. virtually every thig was same in both trips i.e. load on car, tyre pressure, speed @ which I traveled on motorway. bt I don't know why the difference. the only difference may be that the previous trip to Lahore was just after 10000 km tuneup, and current trip was at 12900 km on ODO. Just couldn,t figure out so thougt the share with you guys.

as for the fuel average, it might be due to the petrol pump's fuel quality.

That's one of the biggest problems in ISB. The two I found to be the best were

a) G/9 (or was it G-10) close to ptcl office- on that road.
b) The one on Blue Area road- i think it was F/7 wala.
