Your comments regarding the engine absolutely make no sense. As far as no security is concerned, most cars here dont have air bags any way. Dont blame the car if you couldnt afford it :P. the previous 06 civvy also came in a 1800 or 2000 CC varient (im not sure which one it was) in malaysia, so i guess honda was crazy for doing that too?

These newer cars have crumple zones and impact absorbing material, i.e. in an accident the car disintegrates but the driver survives. Hence the 1.5 steermatic having a lighter body means it will have faster acceleration,breaking(since it also has 15"rims/low profile tyres) and fuel economy. Bad luck you chose the IDSI since you clearly could have gotten it :P. As far as resale is concerned, the city isnt doing too well any ways

ps:just pulling your leg at the affording part :P.. M/T transmission with buttons on steering to change gears?... LOL... jaan laynee hai kya...

and city ka horn buhat halka hai ... can u tell me the price of civics horn meinay city mein lagwana hai ...? ...

I purchased a chinese horn for around 250rs, look out for those Type R ones (mine sounds similar to a BMW :P). best of luck.

bhai saw your post regarding 1500 cc engine in 1250cc car... yar do a little research about any car, any model.... each model is available in different trim level and a variety of engienes... just to give you an example... renault's clio, a very samll hatch comes in 1.4 litre and also 3.0 litre v6(though in the back)... we are talking about double the engine size, we only have a difference of 200cc in city, btw 200cc is lees than a glass of water :P...... and basically abroad the city has mostly 1.5 litre engine and i think this engine suits it better too, the 1.3 idsi was basically designed for honda jazz... and i wont be surprised if the 1.5 gives better fuel economy than the 1.3 vario... reason caz the engine has to work less to carry the load as compared to the small engien carrying the same load but i stand here to be corrected ..........and city is a well designed car, safer too both for the driver inside and the padesterian outside.... it has got cruple zones they absorb force and results in relatively slow decellaration which means less g-force for the passengers inside........ and i have presonally drove a steermatic, great drive, very smooth and doesnt feels underpowered at all as compared to vario...

Steermatic is a very nice ride indeed but highly under-rated in Pakistan where unfortunately trashy cars are sold like hot cake and nice cars take a beating!!!!

hsnmz: nice pics, i have the same color steermatic and planning to get it royal shielded soon, i am in isb so the guyz in lhr are asking 4000 for the job, hope its worth it...

also i can see that the shine stays even after car wash...
