Many thanks :), & i will check if this wax is available somewhere near me. Do post a pic of your tyre if time is on your side.
Lately, hit 100,000 km mark. Also had a problem with Combination switch for head lights. The headlights were not turning on, High beam was okay, all indicators were okay as well. Got it checked at Honda Pit Stop Cavalry Ground, since the electrician there is good and knows how to open the steering wheel. For other city models, there is no need to open the steering wheel but for Steermatic it is necessary. The main issue was there are small cells like 6 mm in length inside switch, moving back & forth with the movement of switch lever. These cells get worn with the passage of time, hence not allowing certain function, in my case normal head light. Unfortunately none of the internal parts are available, if there is serious damage, one have to buy the whole combination switch.
The electrician replaced the small cell with high beam cell. It worked fine as far as normal light, but for high beam now miss, sometime turns-on on 1st try, sometime on 2nd try. I onlyh found it last night travelling back to Lahore from Sialkot. Either i have to find if these small cells are available, otherwise i have to buy the whole combination switch (in near future), which cost like 4000 or may be more, i forgot the exact price.
The purpose of sharing is be gentle with your combination switch & in case of any problem, use an electrician who opened it previously. Because when wheel is opened there is circular moving part, part of the power steering. It moves freely, when steering is removed. So it need to be tied, in its position, also inside a small plastic circular part, which should be in the same position as arrow says. If not handled properly by electrician, will cause problem in alignment.
According to electrician this problem is very common in city.
