Tajammla bro, on fitst floor we have constructed walls of mumty and store, which we eill inshALLAH extend some time later. For that we are planning for precasted concrete roofs.

What are the options, banumukhtar, izhar and what is its expected cost.

Guys I am facing Mold or fungus problems In Newly constructed fibre board or chip board almaris.
It is spreading at great speed.
Any solution for this?

There might be leakage at back wall of Almari if your almari design is full box design. Identify the source of seepage, rectify it or remove humid environment.
Try to avoid full box almari n provide pallaa only at front side. Its better to have exposed wall design in case of almari.

There is no box design and no water seepage at all . Wood is only used In front doors and daraz.

Ok gd.in that case open the draws and cupboard panels for sometime and if possible provide exhaust ventilation + direct air via pedestal fan.humidity shall reduced by above measures.

bro as far as corian slabs are considered, do we use original dupont corian in Pakistan. or are there some local or china products available.

Yes original is available. But it will cost you around 1800-2000 PKR/Sq ft beside the fact that an ordinary person /non subject matter expert dont have the capability to differentiate between 1200 Rs/Sq ft and 2000 Rs/Sq Ft material. There are max chances that you pay cost of 2000 Rs/Sq Ft but will get material of 1000 or 1200 Rs/Sq ft. So if you want to have Dupont coreaan then 1st do the in-depth market analysis and then decide.

There are more than 20 brands in market. ICI and Nippon are good name too. As mentioned earlier, we have only used Diamond and Happilac.

Glass smooth like finish of paint you can get via following;
1- Prepare good initial surface with rag-maar
2- Have 2 hands wall patti filling
3- Roller stroke leave small pores on wall so better to perform from brush if possible. But usually pain guys use roller stroke to save time.

Jumbolon can be quite costly. I'm looking for a really cheap alternative to cover roof of my existing home. i was thinking to place regular polystyrene sheets (regular white ones) directly on roof by placing them on top of bricks to leave some space for ventilation and to avoid water stagnation.

Either this or cover roof with tarpal or green sheets available at nurseries.

You can have white insulation foam type material/polystyrene sheets from any good shop. W.r.t pindi/isb you can visit City Saddar Road.

2 times wall patti filling means 2 times pasting of wall patti on walls. Wall patti is pasted on wall prior to apply paint coats. It give smooth finish to wall.

House we are building is corner and and whole 90 ft side exposed to sun 9 hours a day.

Experts can better comment on that. As per my understanding, building a hollow wall (two walls with cavity between them. than fill the cavity with insulation material) is not cost effective and no one do that here but its common practice in some other countries with harsh weather conditions. Some option are

• Jumbolon spary on walls (outside)
• Use roof paint by ICI specifically made for insulation (outside)
• Use wooden/pvc paneling from inside of walls, perhaps with some insulation sheet between wall and paneling. (inside)

I think 3rd option will eliminate the need of paint and enhance the look of interior. You need to do the math to chose best and cost effective method.

You are right. We build jacketed wall which is expose to sun at our home and results are ok, it cost hight but satisfactory results.
