Alright friends, the updates in the setup are mostly install related, such as speaker location, some fiber glassing work, amps configuration etc.
The only Hardware change is the Head Unit. Which by no means SQ wise, an upgrade over the P-90 Combo.
I received a call from Asif c/o Lazer Sound, telling me about a Head Unit which just arrived in their stock. I was totally unaware of this new HU. I googled for it a bit and saw some videos over the youtube, fell in love with it.
The new upgrades and the functionality they gave in the unit were simply amazing. It was just an impulsive buy just to try out the new head unit.
The HU (more of a media HUB) i am talking about is Pioneer's Flagship Model the AVH-P8450BT. Hold your horses, I still have the P-90 combo with me. I can throw the P-90 back in the Honda anytime I like

The things that made me buy this particular unit include:
- VGA 800x400. Picture quality is absolutely amazing, crisp, bright n clear.
- LED Screen instead of LCD (not sure but read it some where)
- Advanced App Mode
- 2x USB ports.
- Detachable Face plate.
- Digital output.
- Along with other video formats it also plays WMV, H.264 over SD and USB.
- Built in Bluetooth. Which also streams media.
-
The GUI: The GUI is simply amazing, very decent rather than khaata meetha and is fast too.
What i have noticed is the audio quality is better compared to the previous Pioneer DVD players i had. Also whats good about it is the sound quality of the Ipod, USB, SD is very good unlike previous models, the sound quality greatly suffered the moment you switch from optical media to ipod, usb or SD.
I am impressed.
