Alright guys as most of you already know about my recent purchase i-e the Focal Polyglass 33V2 subwoofer. I have now installed it in my car.

For the enclosure dimension i went with the Focal recommended size i-e 40 liters or 1.41cuft net. Focal also recommended a wedged shaped enclosure, Focal engineers definitely know more than me, so i went with what the Focal recommended.
As far as the material is concerned, I again choose 1 inch Malaysian MDF. The thicker and denser the construction material, the less it will flex and the less acoustic energy is lost.
Here are the pics:
To route the wire, i drilled a hole in the enclosure and filled the hole with silicone after the silicone was dry i applied Magic Depoxy. Depoxy will ensure that the seal is secure and it will also keep the wire in place. Also i applied a thick layer of Silicone in all the joinings and corners.

This time I applied 2 layers of polyester sheet. Damping is guuudddd....!!!!

Installed the subwoofer in the enclosure, gave 24 hours for the silicone, depoxy and Samad bond to dry.

Hope you guys like it
