ok gentlemen.i opened up my baby once again n spent over 9 hours trying to get the cruise control working but to no avail.ive come to the concl that we require new wiring loom for the interior+new instrument cluster.the cruise main n cruise control doesnt lite up.so a break for the time being.wil try buying a new instrument cluster n then try it!

Temporarily installed the JBL MS-8 on the rear amp rack, but things didnt worked out so well there. Lots of wiring mess, RCA needed to be bent alot, and moreover the amps controls and MS-8's mic input got out of reach

Took everything apart, now going to install the MS8 underneath the driver seat for easier accessibility. But this means alot of more work too, rerouting the wires (RCAs, Ground, Power, Remote wires etc) for the MS-8 to be installed under the seat.

@ stj174 i bought the whole steering wheel from UK. It had the buttons on it. i believe one can buy em from separately. Check the thread iinstall cruise control in electrical/wiring sub forum. There ive written all the details. The controls work with the OEM 6 cd changer. If u install any other headunit ull need a nedw wiring harness which will cost £60 i think or you can use a swi adaptor as cylestyne had done.my steering is that of a type r euro

Very nice!! Please do a flush mount for that amp rack. It will look fabulous. And just get those right angle bent RCAs and ull be good to go! :)

But the thing is, I already sourced some very expensive RCAs i-e 2x Stinger Expert Series(thanx to Sir Kzaki) and 1x Audioquest G-Snake. The cost of "each" RCA exceeds the cost of a Pioneer 308 sub cant replace them now.

Moreover Stinger Expert Series and Audioquest are not available with right angle bent plugs....... koi aik roola ho to batayun lol

Now i am in a need of a 3m branded, preferably Stinger Expert, Audioquest or Monster, subwoofer interconnect with the same Y-adapter ( 1 female into 2 males). But i cant find it any where

A friend of mine is going to Dubai on 9th, i have asked him to get me a subwoofer interconnect and a Y-Adapter for the sub amp. Lets hope for the best

RCA has got a lot to do with the sound quality of the setup, I dont want to cut corners here

Sir amazing rca laiken they do not maufacture right angle bent ones..
but you can get right angle bent plugs for your rca and stinger is manufacturing if i am not wrong.... since your friend is going ask him to bring from dubai along with other rcas...

sir...what will u do in life once ur system is fully installed?? i mean u wud be awfully bored once the project completes....since there is always more fun in the journey then the destination itself

sir i have a pretty simple solution for you. take 4 sruare pieces, 1x1x3 inches dimensions and a mdf board that is around 2 inch larger than each side of ur ms8. mount the square pieces on the main amp rack and then mount the board on the squares. mount ms8 on that board. you will have space for the wires and tuning. if you want, you can straighten the ms8 so it is horizontal.

Madhouse12: Sir the thing is i need just about 2 inches of space in width and i cud install the MS-8 with ease I just have 36 inches in width to play around with if i put in horizontally it wont fit at all, thats why i had to install it vertically

Next if i raise the MS 8 from the board, then the flush mount wont be possible. koi aur solution soochain chaity chaity

btw thought of doing a flush mount of the amps n stuff at the base of the trunk ? much more space to play with and will be one of a kind...
