i hear this sound early morning while shifting D - R when i make my car park outside of garage
how u resolved the issue
i have same tuk issue but it is audible on turning onlynothing on brake
same hereearly morning on steering left or right it produce tuk sound

sorry my mistake. capsat suggestion is correct. inspect steering ends and balance rod bush. visually inspect any worn out end boots. lower ball joint boots.
Once my corolla made same noise at braking from front end. After opening and checking each and every thing in detail i found that one of control arm main bushing was shot. Got it replaced and voila.
so hope it is not going to be a big expense in sha Allah

this is exactly my issueno sound on high or normal speedsdug sound is only at very slow speeds mostlt in parkingsince my car has no power steering as it got eps so i think it is worn out suspension joints. it is same as steering ends or it is different. no tuk sound with brake in my carpl guide
