I have a very important subject here to discuss,as i have seen some great confusions turning up in this area and most of our motorists and trafic wardens are'nt quiet aware of the rules and regulations other then a few who i appreciate who go by the book and the governing law of pakistan as for the "motor vehicle act" i guess. and many wardens would implement their own laws on the general public which is unfair.
and well also our citizens would do some things which are way beyond the law and would never get harrased for it as they have become norms of the city or our mother land.
well i am not very against people making their own law(as that is the job of our law workers to abide them by) but i do not like things that do not favour our economy and that do inflict worries on 3rd party innocent citizens.
well sticking to the topic
whats legal and illegal on the streets of khi/whole of pakistan.
I have heard in the past racers/ricers/modified cars being nabbed down and nagged at.
i personaly share a few experinces as i remember roumers from 4 years back the modified cars being harrased etc.
i also remember last when i was in khi about a year back about 4 nice looking sports cars parked and they were 2 rx7s a civic and mayb a rx8 as soon as they see the police they are like chalo chalo bhag jao police mobile aa rahi hai and along with them there was a whole bunch of spectators who were on bikes atleast numbering 50s and there was a whole lolt of a hulla bulla soon after that and i being stayed abroad was lik
wtf are yaull up to..
i stayed there a few minutes trying to be brave but then came a stage i felt so dishearted i took my ride and moved onn.
this incident taken place at the parco pump road to devils point.
why did that happen i have no clue if some one can explain please enlighten me.
well now coming down to a few basics most of yaull do know i am a fresh owner of an rx8.
my intentions are not to keep it as a street car
i am going catless(which is loud and gives some added power) with forced induction aka turbo. possibaly a lot of sponsor stickers nos kits low body etc.
so will i be street legal
well not that i bother but still i like to abide by the law, since it is our pakistan and we have to take care of it.
so please shed some light on this subject.
mainly i will be buying a car carrier to hook it behind my prado/vigo etc and take it to the event street racing is a big no no for me........unless unless place is realy vacant.
yea but as i said in the other forums my car is perfomance and exhibition based.
it is going to be a race car producing possibly 350 + bhp without nos
yet at the same time exhibition based with a high end car stereo,immaculate pro condition, with awsome wheels body kits and a lot of other out of the ordinary things
yea it will drive down the streets for that special occasional mood that i have
well most of the time i am a calm driver other then when i feel like i am vindiesel playing in the movie fasta n furious.
