Well I own it from 5 years, it was cheaper than Vitz at that time and still is.
You should go for it if you don't want resale speed. It is reliable, provides adequate trunk space and is way cheaper than any other sedan. Its not very powerful for acceleration but goes to 80-90 km/h very easily and that is all you require in a city.
It has very good soundproofing. Other options are Liana and Lancer (both are expensive than Platz), but as per my experience it is way more reliable than them and is also has life time token tax due to being 1000cc. The next auto sedan you can jump to in Toyota is 2008+ Gli for 1.5+ million or Toyota 2007+ for roughly 1.3+ million.
