Suggest a car with less maintenance required in the range of 8-10 lacs

Well I own it from 5 years, it was cheaper than Vitz at that time and still is.

You should go for it if you don't want resale speed. It is reliable, provides adequate trunk space and is way cheaper than any other sedan. Its not very powerful for acceleration but goes to 80-90 km/h very easily and that is all you require in a city.

It has very good soundproofing. Other options are Liana and Lancer (both are expensive than Platz), but as per my experience it is way more reliable than them and is also has life time token tax due to being 1000cc. The next auto sedan you can jump to in Toyota is 2008+ Gli for 1.5+ million or Toyota 2007+ for roughly 1.3+ million.

Thank you @FaatehRehman, I'll consider it as one of the options and will explore further. May i know its fuel consumption and maintenance cost as these two are my top priorities at the moment?

try to consider belta. a better option than Platz. look for belta with 1.3 engine.
reliable car. parts easily available in markets like Bilal gunj. with belta 1.3 you can easily attain around 15 in the city and 18++ on the highway.

I've seen both belta and platz.
Platz price has just around the difference of 1lac with city & corolla price which doesn't make sense to me. If this is the case, I'll prefer one of city/corolla.
Belta on the other hand is even more expensive than city/corolla so its not in my budget otherwise yeah I've heard a lot good about that car too.

I am now looking for a good condition either city or corolla in good price which is really difficult

If city/corolla is only 1 lac expensive than Platz then I don't think you should buy that car, because that car must have some problem. Must check that car extra carefully.

I checked few ads of Platz, these are in the range of 10-11 lacs whereas city/corolla are in the ranges of 11-13 lacs
