Suggest an engine for toyota corolla E90

an example of wiring costs, I charged Rs 10,000~20,000/- to wire up honda, toyota, nissan n mitsubishi 4 cyl engines - these are from mid 2000s - all looms and wiring would be top notch. (the charge varied depending on the job at hand)

There were tons of "ustaad" types who would "shtart" it for Rs 1000/- they did not care about anything else than "engine ghoom raha hai - start hai" no check light, no start signal, no A/C signal, no safety fuses and no soldering or heatshrink.

The job would be "nitto taped" closed and handed over.

Well if u can wire the new series engine than nothing is better. They rev better give all around good torque and good mileage. Otherwise go for 5AFE or 4AFE. If u chose 7AFE than go for the coils on newer generation its more fun.

Did you know anybody in Islamabad or Peshawar who can wire these modern engines??

Ok, If the electrician guarantees me then I would go for ZZ series otherwise not.

Now answer these questions which I asked earlier.
If I am able to find last gen 7AFE than would you recommend me 7AFE or not??
If ZZ engine is wired up completely than it would be better option than 7AFE or not??

They said that Japanese engine only come in 4EFE, 5AFE & 7AFE.
4AFE 1.6 is a pakistani variant and it is not available in market.

Yes you are right, 7AFE have 2 hp more than 4AFE, but look at their size, 4AFE is 1.6 and 7AFE is 1.8 and their power output is almost same.

The difference is in their torque. 7AFE has a very good low end torque.

Hmm you have no idea how much torque 7AFE got. I have used 5afe 4afe and 7afe. But 7afe is not only very quiet it has amazing torque and i am using it from last 2 years and still the torque it produces is great [emoji106]. 7A also gives very good milage better than 4afe. But 7afe most of them suffer from oil burning due to stuck oil ring.

My bro had 4efte in his corolla use to give him 15kmpl+ and when required 135+HP.

I have heard that 4efte engine has to be maintained carefully.
