The carbureted 3 cylinder G10A (came in cultus till 2007) with I believe 6 valves (might be wrong) produced 48 hp.
Do you really think that an EFI 4 cylinder G10B with I guess 16 valves like the baleno produces just as much as the old G10A? Why would they come up with a new engine then. Suzuki: I tried so hard and got so far, in the end it doesn't even matter.

Indian car marker's maruti suzuki zen had same G10b engines as cultus vxri one. It is rated 50 bhp at 6000 rpm.

Kind sir, if you had scrolled down further on Wikipedia you would have found out that when they introduced MPFI (EFI) Zen with 4 Valves per Cylinder its power output bumped by 10 HP. Pehli zen mai carburetor tha.
Now, let's see... which car in Pakistan comes with G10B having 4 valves per cylinder and is EFI? Cultus? so surprised

there are many examples in which that so called produced BHP is either less or even more then what engine actually produces. and do you know how this BHP is measured?
